Dr. Lori Terryberry Spohr, Brain Injury Program Manager at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, and Dave Schultz, Licensed Athletic Trainer, Sports Medicine Outreach Manager will conduct a 45-minute Sports Safety Clinic on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 5:30 – 6:15 p.m. for volunteer coaches at the YMCA Youth Sports Office, 570 Fallbrook Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Visit the Sports Injury Prevention Task Force page on our safekidslincoln.org website.

Safe Kids Lincoln-Lancaster County Water Safety Task Force is conducting a water safety class designed to educate parents, care givers, children, and pool and spa owners about drowning and entrapment prevention.  The training will be held at the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department on May 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the Training Center.  Please park in the east visitor’s lot and enter the east door.  Take the elevator to the Training Center on the lower level of the building.
